Welcome to the inaugural show from “Building Green Radio”, the monthly radio show from strawbale.com, where I answer your green building questions. Every month I answer questions from our readers and visitors and share with you the latest news and information in the green building world along with Dicken Weatherby, the web master at strawbale.com. Some of the questions I answer this month include:
1. What is the best choice for insulation in areas where there are no bales?
2. What is the best foundation choice for a SB house?
3. The building inspector wants me to put rebar in my bale walls. Do I have to do that and what are the down sides of doing so?
4. What should I put between my toe ups, insulation or gravel?
5. How do I find bales in my area?

This is awesome. Thank you so much for doing this. What a great resource for me as I prepare to build my house. I love that you guys use all kinds of media to get the word out. Personally, I don’t like learning through books so the DVDs were a great start for me. Now I can hook into the radio show, the daily blog, and the straw bale minute to get more infomration. You guys rock!

Jeff,
You said it! I was just about to write the same thing…sort of. Unlike you I like learning from books. I also like learning from video and I appreciate the effort of the audio stuff. What I like the most about the audio show, the blog, and the straw bale minute video is that I can actually get my questions answered. I don’t know where else I could go for that. Thanks to everyone at strawbale.com for all you do.
