I recently received an email from a woman looking for quality employment with an architectural firm that works in green design, especially straw bale. She sent me her resume and some sample projects and I was very impressed with both. She’s a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a masters in architecture. Prior to graduate school she worked at Daniel Smith and Associates (www.dsaarch.com) designing and building with straw bales.
If you’re interested in learning more about her, please comment here and I will get you in touch with her. Again, her work is very unique and beautiful, in my opinion.

Andrew:
Let me start off by saying we bought the 3 DVD set some time back and found it to be one of the best investments we’ve ever made! We are now in design stage of our project (just outside Tulsa, OK) and could really use some help with getting from “ideas” to blueprints. If you could put us in touch with some green designers that would be very helpful. Thanks!

Hi I am considering building a straw bale home. The state of Utah requires non-load bearing, I would like to frame the conventional method or possibly post and beam out of timber rather than squared post and beam. Is there some one with experience in the area or wiling to consider it please send back thanks Alonzo

Hello,
Although we are not an architectural firm, we are interested in locating an architect who is experienced in strawbale design. If possible we would like to get in touch with the woman whom you mentioned. We are hoping to build a stawbale vacation home near EstesPark, Co. Thanks so much. Your video was most helpful!
