The 7 day intensive straw bale construction workshop originally scheduled for Bend, Oregon will now be held on my property in Jacksonville, Oregon. I hope to include a tour of straw bale homes in the workshop schedule. This should give participants the opportunity to see different styles of completed homes and perhaps inspire them to build to their best!

I have several cabins and perhaps a tee pee to accommodate participants on the land if you don’t want to sleep in a tent. Food is provided and fun is on the schedule too! The site where we will be building is beautiful, as you can see in the picture above. There are several ponds, although I imagine it will be too cold to swim. My property is surrounded by thousands of acres of forest, so hiking is always an option.
