Thanks for writing that. I think it is indeed important for that type of language to be known; however, I am not terribly worried about the photos I will be posting as they are simply "home owner" photos. I don't plan to try and hold any rights to the photos and I imagine that all people who send in pictures will feel the same. If my posting a picture of a straw bale house gets picked up and used, then that means more images are getting out there. I hope people agree that this is a good thing. In a commercial sense, you are right on. In a "let's spread the word around" sense, I think we are okay. Thanks again.

I would be very cautious about posting anything on Facebook. By accepting the Facebook "terms of service" you are agreeing to give them full license of anything you add to their site.

"By posting User Content to any part of the Site, you automatically grant . . . to the Company an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or in part) and distribute such User Content for any purpose, commercial, advertising, or otherwise, on or in connection with the Site or the promotion thereof, to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such User Content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing."
