can a straw bale home be near the water? where my sisters’ home is by one like just across the street but it is condemned for the fact on the floods over the years that the house became very moldy & started to fall apart, they tried to get funding from city but of no avail, could a straw bale be build with a pier to bring the house elevated because of the floods? what would be your estimate on an average 3 bedroom home, 2 bath, & roughly 1, 700 sq. ft?
