My friend Scott sent me this email to see if anyone needs any mesh for a project nearby. If you are interested, please respond to this post and I will forward the message to him.
We’ve (2) 100 ‘ rolls of 6′ width, 2″ welded wire mesh, and (2) 100′ rolls of 4′ width welded wire mesh left over from our construction project. They are still in their original unwrapped rolls. I’ll have to double check what I paid for them, but I’d probably like to receive 75% of my original cost.

Hi,
The 14 gauge welded wire mesh was left over from the construction of our strawbale house.
Looking back at our records, I’d really like to get 100 dollars per roll, for the 48″ x 100′ role, and 140 per roll for the 62″ x 100′ roll.
These prices are aprox. 25% less than what I paid (not including shipping), and an even larger savings over current prices as they have gone up with the new year. I was quoted a price of 155 dollars for the 48″ roll, and 205 dollars for the 62″ roll on the telephone today.
I have a few other odds and ends I’d like to move on as well. I have quite a few 10′ x 30′ tarps left over. I have a couple or three electric chainsaws that have seen some action. I have a bunch of misc. Simpson hardware (strap hold-downs, beam hangers, a-35s, ltp4s, and angle irons that were left over from the project) And, finally, I have about 8 to 10 18′ length df 6 x 8s. If anyone is interested in these, or interested in the welded wire mesh, please email me at scott_mackison@yahoo (dot) com.
Thanks, Andrew, for letting me post this.
Scott.

Scott, I’m interested but I live in the Bay area and the project is in the Sierras on Hwy 395. Could you send me some pictures of all the materials?
Sincerely
uwillimann@yahoo.com I tried your email but no luck, so please send your response directly to me.

Hi Kathy,
I grew up in Colorado - that’s very exciting! Colorado seems to be a hotbed of straw bale construction.
s_mackison@yahoo.com
if you email me at the above address, I’ll forward you a list of whatever I have left over. I still need to go through all the extra Simpson hardware and I’ll try to get that done this week. I doubt, that unless you were nearby, it would be worth shipping things like the electric chainsaws as they aren’t that expensive to begin with.
Scott.

One more item I neglected to mention. Kind of specific, but what the heck. My wife reminded me that when we move into our new house, we’ll need to get rid of our fifth wheel trailer. If anyone needs a mid 90’s, 35 foot, fleetwood trailer with one pop-out, shoot me an email. It is a very comfortable trailer. Not as stylish as an Airstream but more livable and more affordable.

hey what are you thinking for the price on the trailer
