As the workshop season continues on, you may be wondering what it’s like to experience a seven day, hands-on workshop. This new video will give you a delicious taste of what it’s like. As I’ve heard many times from participants: “It’s so much more than just a workshop.”
I hope you will join me at a location soon. Next up…West Virginia in August. I have a few spots left as of today (May 30, 2017), but they are disappearing fast… Click here to sign up today.
I just returned from Twisp, WA where I taught 30 some people how to build their own straw bale house. We learned from each other, made new life long friends, swam in the lake, played music, sang songs, told jokes, sat around the campfire, and deepened our love for life. Again, it’s so much more than just a workshop.
The greatest joy I have in my professional life is working with people, professionals and owner builders alike, to help them achieve their dreams. Sometimes those dreams revolve around building a straw bale house. Sometimes the dream is something much deeper and more profound. No matter what the dream, seeing my friends step closer to that dream’s realization is inspiring for me. I hope you’ll come and experience the same inspiration soon.
If you want to see a “rougher cut” experience of a workshop, be sure to check out my Facebook Live videos from the Sierra Vista, AZ workshop in April. You can find them on my Facebook page here (you’ll need to scroll down a bit, of course). I filmed the events of the days as they happened and shared that with my viewers. It was a fun experience and one I’ll do moving forward whenever I have internet access to support the live feature. I also made a short iPhone film in Washington that I’ll share in the next few days. Stay tuned…
